The broadcast fibre system is an extension solution for
outside broadcast and instillation applications. The
solution offers many advantages including compact
design, extended RF bandwidth and state of the art RF
modules.
DTC’s fibre extension enables the antennas to be placed
up to 1700m away with power on a SMTPE cable or up to
20kms if powered locally.
These advanced features can further control the RF gain
stage set-up allowing flexibility in any situation. 12V
power is provided for down converters, allowing
compatibility with DTC and other manufacturer’s
products.
The system can be supplied either with SMPTE Hybrid or
tactical fibre. Both models offer a high brightness OLED
screen on the base unit to report optical levels and cable
condition status.
Our ‘On Cable Solution’ is now available, providing
return data path for camera control through the SMPTE
cable and a remote DC output for a data transmitter. Rig
one cable for video reception, data transmission and
power. The DTC Fibre extender system is an excellent and
flexible addition for any situation.
